Dear Friend of the Spartans,
The 4th Annual “FOR THE LOVE OF THE GAME” fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 24th at St. Mary’s in Sycamore. The tradition and community support over these past few years has been tremendous.
The Sycamore Sports Booster Club would be honored to have you share in the success of this event in support of our athletes.
A $30 ticket ($35 at the door) to this event will include food, entertainment, dancing, the silent auction, and cash bar. Tickets will be available for purchase from members of the Sycamore Sports Booster Club and at the following locations. Sycamore High School Athletic Department, Sycamore Middle School Main Office, Castle Bank in Sycamore & Sycamore Road in DeKalb, Kishwaukee Family YMCA, Prairie View Animal Hospital & Sycamore Chamber of Commerce.
The Booster Club’s mission is to enhance the Sycamore School District Athletic programs. This past year we had successful seasons in multiple sports including:
- Sycamore Middle School – 8th Grade Football – 1st Place in NCJC Conference
- Sycamore Middle School - Boys Cross Country Team – State Qualifier
- Sycamore Middle School - 7th Grade Volleyball – 2nd Place in Conference
- Sycamore Middle School – 8th Grade Boys Basketball – 2nd Place in Conference
- Sycamore Middle School – Wrestling Team – 2nd in NCJC conference, 8th Place in State
- Sycamore High School – Girls Softball – Regional Champs
- Sycamore High School - Bass Fishing – State Qualifier
- Sycamore High School - Girls Soccer – Regional, Sectional, Super Sectional Champions, and 4th Place at State Tournament
- Sycamore High School - Girls Track – Sectional Champs
- Sycamore High School - Boys Soccer – Regional Champs
- Sycamore High School- Football – State Quarter Finals
- Sycamore High School - Girls Volleyball – Regional, Sectional, Super-Sectional Champions, and 3rd Place at State Tournament
- Sycamore High School - Boys Bowling – Sectional Champs and State Team Qualifiers
- Sycamore High School -Girls Bowling – Conference Tournament Champions
- Sycamore High School - Wrestling – Conference Champs, Regional Champs, State Dual Team
- Sycamore High School – Boys Cross Country – 2nd Place Regional, 3rd Place Sectional, 10th Place State
- Sycamore High School – Girls Cross Country – 3rd Place Regional
- Sycamore High School – Poms – State Qualifier
